BELATED HALLOWEEN WISHES...
Guess who? (Hint: Rhymes with D. V. as well as G.B.)
If you guess it right, you get to tell me why Blogger does whatever the hell it wants to, like putting a picture above all the writing when you told it to put it below all the writing...
I was going to dress as an Imperial Storm Trooper. I even got the black fishnets... We (had we not been just feet away from our respective deathbeds) had planned to attend a costume party and make our entrance with a boombox blasting "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley. (Do they still call them boomboxes?)
(No, I've not recovered ... just feeling tres guilty for not posting...)

I came up with a good halloween idea now after the holiday. I seem do this every year. I liked mine, but how cool would it have been to be THE CAVEMAN from the geico commercials?...
This whole sick thing is getting to be a drag isn't it? If I could figure out how to heal myself I would send the cure to you too!
BUIE: Sorry to say I don't know the caveman, will keep an eye out for him. I LOVE the lizard tho...
SIMON: What do you call them? I'm trying very hard to get better...
JEFF: No truer word has ever been said. I'm about ready to cash my chips in on this one...
At least you can get Blogger to post pictures...mine won't even do that.
My experience has been that it always puts the pictures at the top. I then go into the HTML part and move it where I want it by cutting and pasting it....
We ended up at a party last minute too and I dressed up and had fun taking the kids to trick or treat. It was a fun night, that is for sure.
What is this boombox thing you are referring to?
J/J I know what you mean there is no cool 80's term like that any more it is just cd-player or radio. How boring is that?
How long do ya'll northerners usually let an illness keep ya down? Just tell'em "Git, germs. Git!"
And "git" better.
Jambox is another term for it.
All of you using Blogger -- come on over to Wordpress. Water's fine over here. I use the (free) software on my own host, but they have a (free) hosted service, too (with fewer customization options).
Also, there's a new free hosted service by Six-Apart (think Typepad) called Vox. It's at vox.com.
You can still keep your Blogger account, but just don't use it for your blog.
Sorry, Wink. Didn't mean to hijack your space.
MISHKA: Most anything that turns up here on my blog is by luck or mistake... I'm not terribly ambitious about learning/trying new things, I get frustrated so easily... but if I can do pictures (hit and miss, nonethe less) YOU can do pictures... Glad you had a fun Halloween :-)
TC: Ha ha. Let's make up our own name for it... You go first. ;-)
MARK: Jambox, aha! Thank you! I love you for taking the time to write all these foreign terms like Wordpress, host, vox, etc. etc. but you don't know what these things do once they get jumbled up inside my head. It's probly hormonal but it is too messy for me to get my brain around... Unless you're volunteering to talk me through something (holding my hand of course...) you're really talking up the wrong treebark...
Never apologize for taking up space here, you're my guest and I'm happy if you feel comfortable to rant or rave or wax poetic or bark or bite or sing or dance... whatever... mi casa e su casa. No hablo Espanol. Can you tell???
